6 Or is it only I and Barnabas(A) who lack the right to not work for a living?
7 Who serves as a soldier(B) at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard(C) and does not eat its grapes? Who tends a flock and does not drink the milk? 8 Do I say this merely on human authority? Doesn’t the Law say the same thing? 9 For it is written in the Law of Moses: “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.”[a](D) Is it about oxen that God is concerned?(E) 10 Surely he says this for us, doesn’t he? Yes, this was written for us,(F) because whoever plows and threshes should be able to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest.(G)

7 Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?
8 Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also?
9 For it is written in the law of Moses, thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
