1 Corinthians 9:25-27
New King James Version
25 And everyone who competes for the prize [a]is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for (A)an imperishable crown. 26 Therefore I run thus: (B)not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27 (C)But I discipline my body and (D)bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become (E)disqualified.

25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown(A) that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.(B) 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly;(C) I do not fight like a boxer beating the air.(D) 27 No, I strike a blow to my body(E) and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.(F)
