^15 (A)Do you not know that ^(B)your bodies are parts of Christ? Shall I then take away the parts of Christ and make them parts of a prostitute? ^[a](C)Far from it! ¹⁶ Or ^(D)do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “^(E)The two shall become one flesh.” ¹⁷ But the one who joins himself to the Lord is ^(F)one spirit with Him. ^18 (G)Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but the ^[b]sexually immoral person sins against his own body. ¹⁹ Or ^(H)do you not know that ^(I)your body is a ^[c]temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from ^[d]God, and that ^(J)you are not your own?

¹⁸ But ^(A)the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and those things defile the person. ^19 (B)For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, acts of adultery, other immoral sexual acts, thefts, false testimonies, and ^[a]slanderous statements. ²⁰ These are the things that defile the person; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the person.”
