1 Corinthians 5:5-8

5 hand this man over(A) to Satan(B) for the destruction of the flesh,[a][b] so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.(C)
6 Your boasting is not good.(D) Don’t you know that a little yeast(E) leavens the whole batch of dough?(F) 7 Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.(G) 8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread(H) of sincerity and truth.

6 Your boasting about this is terrible. Don’t you realize that this sin is like a little yeast that spreads through the whole batch of dough? 7 Get rid of the old “yeast” by removing this wicked person from among you. Then you will be like a fresh batch of dough made without yeast, which is what you really are. Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.[d] 8 So let us celebrate the festival, not with the old bread[e] of wickedness and evil, but with the new bread[f] of sincerity and truth.

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
