10 We must not complain against God as some of them did. That is why they were destroyed.
11 All these things happened to show us something. They were written to teach us that the end of the world is near. 12 So watch yourself! The person who thinks he can stand against sin had better watch that he does not fall into sin.

10 And do not grumble, as some of them did(A)—and were killed(B) by the destroying angel.(C)
11 These things happened to them as examples(D) and were written down as warnings for us,(E) on whom the culmination of the ages has come.(F) 12 So, if you think you are standing firm,(G) be careful that you don’t fall!
