1 Corinthians 10:10-12
Amplified Bible
10 And do not murmur [in unwarranted discontent], as some of them did—and were destroyed by the [a]destroyer.(A) 11 Now these things happened to them as an example and warning [to us]; they were written for our instruction [to admonish and equip us], upon whom the ends of the ages have come. 12 Therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm [immune to temptation, being overconfident and self-righteous], take care that he does not fall [into sin and condemnation].

11 These things happened to them as examples(D) and were written down as warnings for us,(E) on whom the culmination of the ages has come.(F) 12 So, if you think you are standing firm,(G) be careful that you don’t fall!
