²⁶ For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

¹⁴ But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.

⁵ I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

¹⁸ But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
