19 “All this,” David said, “I have in writing as a result of the Lord’s hand on me, and he enabled me to understand all the details(A) of the plan.(B)

20 David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous,(C) and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake(D) you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished.(E)

There was a great uproar, and some of the teachers of the law who were Pharisees(A) stood up and argued vigorously. “We find nothing wrong with this man,”(B) they said. “What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?”(C) 10 The dispute became so violent that the commander was afraid Paul would be torn to pieces by them. He ordered the troops to go down and take him away from them by force and bring him into the barracks.(D)

11 The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage!(E) As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”(F)
