³⁵ You were shown these things so that you might know that the Lord, He is God; ^(A)there is no other besides Him.

³⁹ Therefore know today, and take it to your heart, that ^(A)the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.

⁴ “^(A)Hear, Israel! The Lord is our God, the ^(B)Lord is one!

²⁹ Jesus answered, “The ^[a]foremost is, ‘^(A)Hear, Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one;

^30 (A)I and the Father are ^[a]one.”

⁴ Therefore, concerning the eating of ^(A)food sacrificed to idols, we know that an ^(B)idol is ^[a]nothing at all in the world, and that ^(C)there is no God but one. ⁵ For even if ^(D)there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many gods and many lords, ⁶ yet for us ^(E)there is only one God, ^(F)the Father, ^(G)from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and ^(H)one Lord, Jesus Christ, ^(I)by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.

⁶ one God and Father of all ^(A)who is over all and through all and in all.
