“அழிக்காதே” என்னும் பாடலின் இசைத்தலைவனுக்கு ஆசாப் அளித்த துதிப்பாடல்களுள் ஒன்று
75 தேவனே, நாங்கள் உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறோம்.
நாங்கள் உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறோம்.
நீர் அருகாமையில் இருக்க, ஜனங்கள் நீர் செய்யும் அற்புதமான காரியங்களைக் குறித்து கூறுகிறார்கள்.
2 தேவன் கூறுகிறார்:
“நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின் காலத்தை நான் தெரிந்தெடுத்திருக்கிறேன்.
நான் தகுந்தபடி நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன்.
3 பூமியும் அதிலுள்ள அனைத்தும் நடுங்கி விழும் நிலையில் இருக்கும்.
ஆனால் நான் அதைத் திடமாக இருக்கச் செய்வேன்”.
4-5 “சிலர் அதிகமாக பெருமையுள்ளவர்கள், தாங்கள் வலிமை மிக்கவர்கள் என்றும் முக்கியமானவர்கள் என்றும் அவர்கள் நினைக்கிறார்கள்.
ஆனால் நான் அவர்களிடம் ‘வீம்பு பேசாதீர்கள்!’
‘பெருமை பாராட்டாதீர்கள்!’ என்று கூறுவேன்” என்கிறார்.
6 ஒருவனை முக்கியமானவனாக்கும் வல்லமை
எதுவும் இப்பூமியில் இல்லை.
7 தேவனே நீதிபதி, யார் முக்கியமானவர் என்பதை தேவன் முடிவெடுக்கிறார்.
தேவன் ஒருவனை உயர்த்தி அவனை முக்கியமானவனாக்குகிறார்.
தேவன் மற்றொருவனைத் தாழ்த்தி அவனை முக்கியமற்றவனாக்குகிறார்.
8 தேவன் தீயோரைத் தண்டிக்கத் தயாராய் இருக்கிறார்.
கர்த்தர் கையில் ஒரு கோப்பை உள்ளது, அக்கோப்பை விஷம் கலந்த திராட்சைரசத்தால் நிரம்பியுள்ளது.
அவர் அத்திராட்சைரசத்தை (தண்டனையை) ஊற்றுவார்,
கடைசித் துளிமட்டும் கெட்டஜனங்கள் அதனைக் குடிப்பார்கள்.
9 நான் எப்போதும் ஜனங்களுக்கு இவற்றைப்பற்றிக் கூறுவேன்.
இஸ்ரவேலரின் தேவனுக்கு நான் துதிப்பாடுவேன்.
10 கெட்ட ஜனங்களிடமிருந்து நான் வல்லமையை அகற்றிவிடுவேன்.
நான் நல்ல ஜனங்களுக்கு வல்லமையை அளிப்பேன்.

New International Version
Psalm 75[a]
For the director of music. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A psalm of Asaph. A song.
1 We praise you, God,
we praise you, for your Name is near;(A)
people tell of your wonderful deeds.(B)
2 You say, “I choose the appointed time;(C)
it is I who judge with equity.(D)
3 When the earth and all its people quake,(E)
it is I who hold its pillars(F) firm.[b]
4 To the arrogant(G) I say, ‘Boast no more,’(H)
and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns.[c](I)
5 Do not lift your horns against heaven;
do not speak so defiantly.(J)’”
6 No one from the east or the west
or from the desert can exalt themselves.
7 It is God who judges:(K)
He brings one down, he exalts another.(L)
8 In the hand of the Lord is a cup
full of foaming wine mixed(M) with spices;
he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth
drink it down to its very dregs.(N)
