संगीत निर्देसक बरे सुदूर बाँझ बृच्छन क कबूतर नाउँ क धुन पइ दाऊद क उ समइ क प्रगीत जब गात सहर मँ ओका पलिस्तियन घेर लिहे रहेन।
1 हे परमेस्सर, मोह पइ दयालु रहा, काहेकि लोग मोह पइ वार किहेन ह।
उ पचे मोरे खिलाफ समूचइ दिन लड़त रहत रहेन।
2 मोर दुस्मन सारा दिन मोह पइ वार करत रहेन।
हुआँ पइ डटा भए अनगिनत जोद्धा अहइँ।
3 समूचइ दिन, जब कबहुँ मइँ डेरात हउँ,
तउ मइँ तोह पइ भरोसा करबउँ।
4 मइँ परमेस्सर क भरोसे अहउँ, तउ मइँ डेरान नाहीं अहउँ।
लोग मोका नस्कान नाहीं पहोंचाइ सकतेन।
मइँ परमेस्सर क बचनन बरे ओकर बड़कई करत हउँ जउन मोका दिहेस।
5 मोर दुस्मन सदा मोरे सब्दन क तोड़त मरोड़त रहत हीं।
मोरे खिलाफ उ पचे सदा कुचक्र रचत रहत हीं।
6 उ पचे आपुस मँ मिलिके अउर लुक छिपिके मोर हर बाते क टोह लेत रहत हीं।
मोर प्राण हर लेइ क कउनो राह सोचत हीं।
7 हे परमेस्सर, ओनका बचिके निकरइ जिन द्या।
ओनके बुरे करमन क सजा ओनका द्या।
8 तू इ जानत अहा कि मइँ बहोत बियाकुल अहउँ।
तू इ जानत अहा कि मइँ तोहका केतना पुकारेउँ ह?
तू निहचय ही मोरे सबइ आँसुअन क लेखा-जोखा रखे भए अहा।
9 तउ अब मइँ तोहका मदद पावइ क पुकारब।
मोरे दुस्मनन क तू हराइ द्या।
मइँ इ जानत हउँ कि तू इ कइ सकत अहा।
काहेकि तू परमेस्सर अहा।
10 मइँ परमेस्सर क गुण ओकरे वचन बरे गावत हउँ।
मइँ परमेस्सर क गुणन क ओकरे उ बचन बरे गावत हउँ जउन उ मोका दिहेस ह।
11 मोका परमेस्सर पइ भरोसा अहइ एह बरे मइँ नाहीं डेरात हउँ।
लोग मोर बुरा नाही कइ सकतेन।
12 हे परमेस्सर, मइँ जउन तोहार मन्नतन मानेउँ ह, मइँ ओनका पूरा करब।
मइँ तोहका धन्यवादे क भेंट चढ़ाउब।
13 काहेकि तू मोका मउत स बचाया ह।
तू मोका हार स बचाया ह
एह बरे मोका परमेस्सर क सेवा
हिआँ रहइवाला लोगन क समन्वा करइ चाही।

For the director of music. To the tune of “A Dove on Distant Oaks.” Of David. A miktam.[b] When the Philistines had seized him in Gath.
1 Be merciful to me,(A) my God,
for my enemies are in hot pursuit;(B)
all day long they press their attack.(C)
2 My adversaries pursue me all day long;(D)
in their pride many are attacking me.(E)
3 When I am afraid,(F) I put my trust in you.(G)
4 In God, whose word I praise—(H)
in God I trust and am not afraid.(I)
What can mere mortals do to me?(J)
5 All day long they twist my words;(K)
all their schemes are for my ruin.
6 They conspire,(L) they lurk,
they watch my steps,(M)
hoping to take my life.(N)
7 Because of their wickedness do not[c] let them escape;(O)
in your anger, God, bring the nations down.(P)
8 Record my misery;
list my tears on your scroll[d](Q)—
are they not in your record?(R)
9 Then my enemies will turn back(S)
when I call for help.(T)
By this I will know that God is for me.(U)
10 In God, whose word I praise,
in the Lord, whose word I praise—
11 in God I trust and am not afraid.
