¹¹ Put on the full armor of God,^(A) so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. ¹² For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,^(B) but against the rulers, against the authorities,^(C) against the powers^(D) of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.^(E)

²⁰ He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith^(A) as small as a mustard seed,^(B) you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.^(C) Nothing will be impossible for you.” ^[21] [a]

¹⁰ Anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, ¹¹ in order that Satan^(A) might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.^(B)

²⁶ “In your anger do not sin”^[a]:^(A) Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, ²⁷ and do not give the devil a foothold.^(B)

¹⁷ pray continually,^(A)

⁷ Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil,^(A) and he will flee from you.
