²⁴ “The God who made the world and everything in it^(A) is the Lord of heaven and earth^(B) and does not live in temples built by human hands.^{(C) 25} And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.^(D)

²² You Samaritans worship what you do not know;^(A) we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.^{(B) 23} Yet a time is coming and has now come^(C) when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit^(D) and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
