⁵⁷ But thanks be to God!^(A) He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.^(B)

⁵⁸ Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,^(C) because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.^(D)

¹⁴ But thanks be to God,^(A) who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma^(B) of the knowledge^(C) of him everywhere.

⁴ for everyone born of God^(A) overcomes^(B) the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
