Psalm 9:11-20
New International Version
11 Sing the praises(A) of the Lord, enthroned in Zion;(B)
proclaim among the nations(C) what he has done.(D)
12 For he who avenges blood(E) remembers;
he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted.(F)
13 Lord, see how my enemies(G) persecute me!
Have mercy(H) and lift me up from the gates of death,(I)
14 that I may declare your praises(J)
in the gates of Daughter Zion,(K)
and there rejoice in your salvation.(L)
15 The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug;(M)
their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.(N)
16 The Lord is known by his acts of justice;
the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.[a](O)
17 The wicked go down to the realm of the dead,(P)
all the nations that forget God.(Q)
18 But God will never forget the needy;
the hope(R) of the afflicted(S) will never perish.
