3 In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, while Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea,^(A) Herod was tetrarch^[a] of Galilee,^(B) his brother Philip tetrarch of the region of Iturea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene,

¹⁹ But when John rebuked Herod the tetrarch^(A) because of Herodias, his brother’s wife, and all the evil things he had done,^(B)

³¹ At that time some Pharisees came and told him, “Go, get out of here. Herod^(A) wants to kill you.”^(B)

⁷ Finding that he was under Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod,^(A) who was also in Jerusalem during those days.

13 Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen, a close friend of Herod the tetrarch,^(A) and Saul.
