¹¹ He came to ^(A)his own,^[a] and ^(B)his own people^{[b] (C)}did not receive him. ¹² But to all who did receive him, ^(D)who believed in his name, ^(E)he gave the right ^(F)to become ^(G)children of God, ¹³ who ^(H)were born, ^(I)not of blood ^(J)nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

⁸ For ^(A)by grace you have been saved ^(B)through faith. And this is ^(C)not your own doing; ^(D)it is the gift of God, ^9 (E)not a result of works, ^(F)so that no one may boast.

²⁹ So ^(A)receive him in the Lord with all joy, and ^(B)honor such men,

¹⁴ and ^(A)the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the ^(B)faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

Guard the Deposit Entrusted to You
