²⁸ By faith ^(A)he kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood, so that the Destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them.

^6 (A)Kill old men outright, young men and maidens, little children and women, but ^(B)touch no one on whom is the mark. And ^(C)begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the house.

³ saying, ^(A)“Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants^[a] of our God ^(B)on their foreheads.”

⁴ They were told ^(A)not to harm ^(B)the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have ^(C)the seal of God on their foreheads.
