⁶ Abram believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.^(A)

⁶ Just as Abraham believed God,^(A) and it was credited to him for righteousness,^(B)[a]

²³ So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness,^(A)[a] and he was called God’s friend.^(B)
