Acts 2:16-18

¹⁶Rather, this is what was spoken through the prophet Joel:

¹⁷‘In the last days, God says,
    I will pour out my Spirit on everyone.^[a]
Your sons and your daughters will prophesy,
    your young men will see visions,
        and your old men will dream dreams.
¹⁸In those days I will even pour out my Spirit
    on my slaves, men and women alike,
        and they will prophesy.
