John 6:40-42

⁴⁰ For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who ^(A)sees the Son and ^(B)believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will ^(C)raise him up on the last day.”

Words to the Jews

^41 (D)So then the Jews were complaining about Him because He said, “I am the bread that ^(E)came down out of heaven.” ⁴² And they were saying, “^(F)Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother ^(G)we know? How does He now say, ‘^(H)I have come down out of heaven’?”
