Proverbs 15:3-5

New International Version

³ The eyes^(A) of the Lord are everywhere,^(B)
    keeping watch on the wicked and the good.^(C)

⁴ The soothing tongue^(D) is a tree of life,^(E)
    but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.^(F)

⁵ A fool spurns a parent’s discipline,
    but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.^(G)
