Acts 16:14

16:14 from the city of Thyatira. Southeast of Pergamum and about forty miles inland, Thyatira was in Asia Minor, across the Aegean Sea from Athens. Thyatira was known for wool and dying. Purple was an expensive dye.

The Lord opened her heart. Divine illumination and persuasion is necessary for the heart blinded by sin to respond to the gospel (Jer. 13:23; John 6:44, 65; Rom. 9:16; 1 Cor. 2:14).
