For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. — Ecclesiastes 3
Have you ever heard the expression, “This too shall pass”? My dad used to speak those powerful words to comfort me whenever I was walking through a personal battle. Those words still bring me great comfort when life hits hard. King Solomon beautifully reminds us of God’s perfect timing in the above Scripture.
Now that I am older, I realize something more; not only that everything will pass, but all I have to hold on to is today. There will never be a season to settle into, and life will always bring unexpected blessings and unexpected battles. So how do we find our way in a world that is so unsettling?
I think one of the hardest things for me is my longing to settle into one season and master the art of living in that season. However, just when my heart seems to settle in, without fail, life brings an unexpected change. Then I find myself feeling frustrated and internally fighting to find a way to embrace a new arena of life. It is not that my life is always hard, but it is always changing.
Today, I’m learning to embrace every blessing and every battle as they come. Because the truth is, many times in life our circumstances feel like a never-ending battle and us women grow weary from the fight.
The battlefield is never an easy fight, but the victory is everlasting. Once you have decided to trade your disappointments for His divine appointments, you will begin to see yourself for who you really are... His Princess.
It’s time to take our blessings and our burdens and fire up our faith and become who we want to be; a woman of faith.
If you're ready to drop what is not working in this season so you can be free to live today, watch today's Bible Life Coaching video above.
God's Letter to You
I believe if The Lord was going to write you a personal letter about battles this life brings it may read like this....
My Warrior Princess,
I know many days you feel like a weary warrior, too tired to fight. I see you when you have exhausted your faith and lost your passion for My people. Today I want to paint an eternal picture for My beloved warrior. Every act of kindness you share will water someone’s thirsty soul. Every time you pray for someone, you are changing their destiny from darkness to light. You are more than a light in the darkness. Your faith will continue to be a raging fire that will burn in the hearts of many generations who follow your wonderful works on earth!
Love,
Your Eternal King
