  1. David said, “Of these, twenty-four thousand are to be in charge of the work of the temple of the Lord and six thousand are to be officials and judges.
  2. From the Izharites: Kenaniah and his sons were assigned duties away from the temple, as officials and judges over Israel.

  23. He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity.
  24. Arise, Lord, do not let mortals triumph; let the nations be judged in your presence.
  25. He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that he may judge his people:
