  19. If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse.
  20. “‘This, then, is the law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and makes herself impure while married to her husband,
  21. The husband will be innocent of any wrongdoing, but the woman will bear the consequences of her sin.’”
  22. and her husband hears about it but says nothing to her, then her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand.
  23. But if her husband forbids her when he hears about it, he nullifies the vow that obligates her or the rash promise by which she obligates herself, and the Lord will release her.
  24. “If a woman living with her husband makes a vow or obligates herself by a pledge under oath
  25. and her husband hears about it but says nothing to her and does not forbid her, then all her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand.
