  1. ‘You shall not do injustice in judgment; you shall not show partiality to the poor nor give preference to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly.
  2. You are not to show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You are not to be afraid of any person, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too difficult for you, you shall bring to me, and I will hear it.’

    Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality,

  20. For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;
  21. but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away with.
  22. just as you also partially did understand us, that we are your reason to be proud as you also are ours, on the day of our Lord Jesus.
  23. And masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.
  24. For the one who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality.
  25. I solemnly exhort you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of His chosen angels, to maintain these principles without bias, doing nothing in a spirit of partiality.
