  1. then I will act with wrathful hostility against you, and I for My part will punish you seven times for your sins.

  31. Or if I were to send a plague against that country and pour out My wrath on it in blood to eliminate man and animal from it,

Then I resolved to pour out My wrath on them in the wilderness, to annihilate them.

But the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, nor were they careful to follow My ordinances which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them; they profaned My Sabbaths. So I resolved to pour out My wrath on them, to use up My anger against them in the wilderness.
  35. I will also clap My hands, and I will satisfy My wrath; I, the Lord, have spoken.”
  36. I will pour out My indignation on you; I will blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and I will hand you over to brutal men, craftsmen of destruction.
  37. As they gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the smelting furnace to blow fire on it in order to melt it, so I will gather you in My anger and in My wrath, and I will place you there and melt you.
  38. And I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you will be melted in the midst of it.
  39. As silver is melted in the furnace, so you will be melted in the midst of it; and you will know that I, the Lord, have poured out My wrath on you.’”
