Ephesians 1:4-12

^4 (A)even as he ^(B)chose us in him ^(C)before the foundation of the world, that we should be ^(D)holy and blameless before him. In love ^5 (E)he predestined us^[a] for ^(F)adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, ^(G)according to the purpose of his will, ^6 (H)to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in ^(I)the Beloved. ^7 (J)In him we have ^(K)redemption ^(L)through his blood, ^(M)the forgiveness of our trespasses, ^(N)according to the riches of his grace, ⁸ which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight ^9 (O)making known^[b] to us the mystery of his will, ^(P)according to his purpose, which he ^(Q)set forth in Christ^{[c] 10} as a plan for ^(R)the fullness of time, ^(S)to unite all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth in him.

¹¹ In him we have obtained ^(T)an inheritance, ^(U)having been predestined ^(V)according to the purpose of him who works all things according to ^(W)the counsel of his will, ¹² so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be ^(X)to the praise of his glory.
