¹¹ They have over them as king the angel of the abyss: his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek tongue he hath the name ^[a]Apollyon.

¹² The first Woe is past: behold, there come yet two Woes hereafter.

¹³ And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard ^[b]a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before God, ¹⁴ one saying to the sixth angel that had the trumpet, Loose the four angels that are bound at the great river Euphrates. ¹⁵ And the four angels were loosed, that had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, that they should kill the third part of men. ¹⁶ And the number of the armies of the horsemen was twice ten thousand times ten thousand: I heard the number of them. ¹⁷ And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates as of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone: and the heads of the horses are as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceedeth fire and smoke and brimstone. ¹⁸ By these three plagues was the third part of men killed, by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone, which proceeded out of their mouths.

¹² And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river, the river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that come from the sunrising. ¹³ And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs: ¹⁴ for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth ^[a]unto the kings of the whole ^[b]world, to gather them together unto the war of the great day of God, the Almighty. ¹⁵ (Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.) ¹⁶ And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew ^[c]Har-Magedon.

¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat upon the horse, and against his army.

⁸ and shall come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. ⁹ And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down ^[a]out of heaven, and devoured them. ¹⁰ And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are also the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night ^[b]for ever and ever.
