³⁹ But we are not ^[a]of them that shrink back unto perdition; but of them that have faith unto the ^[b]saving of the soul.

²¹ Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of ^[a]wickedness, receive with meekness the ^[b]implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

^20 [a]let him know, that he who converteth a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.
