¹⁹ Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this ^[a]temple, and in three days I will raise it up. ²⁰ The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this ^[b]temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days? ²¹ But he spake of the ^[c]temple of his body.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

³⁴ Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work.

¹⁸ For this cause therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only brake the sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

²⁰ For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth: and greater works than these will he show him, that ye may marvel. ²¹ For as the Father raiseth the dead and giveth them life, even so the Son also giveth life to whom he will. ²² For neither doth the Father judge any man, but he hath given all judgment unto the Son;

⁴³ I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

³⁸ For I am come down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. ³⁹ And this is the will of him that sent me, that of all that which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

⁵⁷ As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he that eateth me, he also shall live because of me.

¹⁶ Jesus therefore answered them, and said, My teaching is not mine, but his that sent me.

²⁸ Jesus therefore cried in the temple, teaching and saying, Ye both know me, and know whence I am; and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
