³ Or do you not know that all of us who have been ^(A)baptized into ^(B)Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? ⁴ Therefore we have been ^(C)buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was ^(D)raised from the dead through the ^(E)glory of the Father, so we too may walk in ^(F)newness of life. ⁵ For ^(G)if we have become ^[a]united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be ^[b]in the likeness of His resurrection,

¹¹ and in Him ^(A)you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands, in the removal of ^(B)the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ, ¹² having been ^(C)buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also ^(D)raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who ^(E)raised Him from the dead. ¹³ And ^[a]when you were ^(F)dead ^[b]in your wrongdoings and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He ^(G)made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our wrongdoings, ¹⁴ having canceled ^(H)the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and ^(I)He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
