²⁶ Then after the sixty-two weeks, the ^[a]Messiah will be ^(A)cut off and have ^[b]nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will ^(B)destroy the city and the sanctuary. And ^[c]its end will come with a ^(C)flood; even to the end ^[d]there will be war; desolations are determined. ²⁷ And he will confirm a covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of ^[e](D)abominations will come the one who ^[f]makes desolate, until a ^(E)complete destruction, one that is ^[g]decreed, gushes forth on the one who ^[h]makes desolate.”

³¹ Forces from him will arise, ^(A)desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the ^(B)abomination ^[a]of desolation.

¹¹ And from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the ^(A)abomination ^[a]of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
