³ constantly keeping in mind your ^(A)work of faith and labor of ^(B)love and ^[a](C)perseverance of hope ^[b]in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of ^(D)our God and Father,

⁷ so that you became an example to all the believers in ^(A)Macedonia and ^(B)Achaia. ⁸ For ^(C)the word of the Lord has ^(D)sounded forth from you, not only in ^(E)Macedonia and ^(F)Achaia, but ^(G)in every place the news of your faith toward God has gone out, so that we have no need to say anything.

⁹ Now as to the ^(A)love of the brothers and sisters, you ^(B)have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are ^(C)taught by God to love one another; ¹⁰ for indeed ^(D)you practice it toward all the brothers and sisters who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers and sisters, to ^(E)excel even more,
