Revelation 2:6-15

⁶Yet this you have: you hate the works of ^(A)the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. ⁷^(B)He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. ^(C)To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of ^(D)the tree of life, which is in ^(E)the paradise of God.’

To the Church in Smyrna

⁸“And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: ‘The words of ^(F)the first and the last, ^(G)who died and came to life.

⁹“‘I know your tribulation and ^(H)your poverty (^(I)but you are rich) and the slander^[a] of ^(J)those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. ¹⁰Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, ^(K)that you may be tested, and for ^(L)ten days ^(M)you will have tribulation. ^(N)Be faithful ^(O)unto death, and I will give you ^(P)the crown of life. ¹¹^(Q)He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. ^(R)The one who conquers will not be hurt by ^(S)the second death.’

To the Church in Pergamum

¹²“And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: ‘The words of him who has ^(T)the sharp two-edged sword.

¹³“‘I know where you dwell, ^(U)where Satan's throne is. Yet you hold fast my name, and you did not ^(V)deny my faith^[b] even in the days of Antipas ^(W)my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. ¹⁴But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of ^(X)Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, so that they might ^(Y)eat food sacrificed to idols and ^(Z)practice sexual immorality. ¹⁵So also you have some who hold the teaching of ^(AA)the Nicolaitans.
