Psalm 2:5-9

New International Version

⁵ He rebukes them in his anger^(A)
    and terrifies them in his wrath,^(B) saying,
⁶ “I have installed my king^(C)
    on Zion,^(D) my holy mountain.^(E)”

He said to me, “You are my son;^(F)
    today I have become your father.^(G)
8 Ask me,
    and I will make the nations^(H) your inheritance,^(I)
    the ends of the earth^(J) your possession.
⁹ You will break them with a rod of iron^[a];^(K)
    you will dash them to pieces^(L) like pottery.^(M)”
