12 having been buried with him in baptism,(A) in which you were also raised with him(B) through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.(C)

13 When you were dead in your sins(D) and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you[a] alive(E) with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,(F) 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness,(G) which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.(H) 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities,(I) he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them(J) by the cross.[b]

But because of his great love for us,(A) God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions(B)—it is by grace you have been saved.(C) And God raised us up with Christ(D) and seated us with him(E) in the heavenly realms(F) in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace,(G) expressed in his kindness(H) to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace(I) you have been saved,(J) through faith(K)—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works,(L) so that no one can boast.(M)
