⁵ (Therefore the Lord gave Israel ^(A)a savior, so that they escaped from the hand of the Syrians, and the people of Israel lived in ^(B)their homes as formerly.

^20 (A)It will be a sign and a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt. When they cry to the Lord because of oppressors, ^(B)he will send them a savior and defender, and deliver them.

^16 (A)Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save ^(B)both yourself and ^(C)your hearers.
