¹⁰ Then David rested with his ancestors^(A) and was buried in the city of David.^(B)

¹⁶ After him Nehemiah son of Azbuk, ruler of half the district of Beth-zur,^(A) made repairs up to a point opposite the tombs of David,^(B) as far as the artificial pool^(C) and the House of the Warriors.^(D)

⁸ And so he gave Abraham the covenant of circumcision. After this, he fathered Isaac and circumcised^(A) him on the eighth day. Isaac became the father of Jacob, and Jacob became the father of the twelve patriarchs.^(B)
