Wisdom 19:1
but anger without mercy assaulted the ungodly right up to the very end. God knew before they did what was yet to come: how,
But as to the wicked, even to the end there came upon them wrath without mercy. For he knew before also what they would do:
But the godless continued to feel your pitiless anger until the very end. You knew what they would do before they did it.
But merciless wrath assailed the wicked until the end, for God knew beforehand what they were yet to do:
But the ungodly were assailed to the end by pitiless anger, for God knew in advance even their future actions:
But the ungodly were assailed to the end by pitiless anger, for God knew in advance even their future actions:
But the ungodly were assailed to the end by pitiless anger, for God knew in advance even their future actions:
But the ungodly were assailed to the end by pitiless anger, for God knew in advance even their future actions:
But the ungodly were assailed to the end by pitiless anger, for God knew in advance even their future actions,
But the ungodly were assailed to the end by pitiless anger, for God knew in advance even their future actions,
Forsooth ire without mercy came on wicked men till into the last, that is, till to the drenching (or the drowning) of them; for why God before-knew also the things to coming of them. [To the unpious forsooth and to the last without mercy wrath came upon; forsooth he knew before and the things to come of them.]
