Wisdom 12:24
They wandered far even from the normal ways in which people err! They took horrible things to be gods, the worst forms of animal life. They were deceived like foolish children.
For they went astray for a long time in the ways of error, holding those things for gods which are the most worthless among beasts, living after the manner of children without understanding.
They had wandered far away from the truth and worshiped the most disgusting and horrible animals. They were deceived as easily as little children.
For they went far astray in the paths of error, taking for gods the worthless and disgusting among beasts, being deceived like senseless infants.
For they went far astray on the paths of error, accepting as gods those animals that even their enemies despised; they were deceived like foolish infants.

For they went far astray on the paths of error, accepting as gods those animals which even their enemies despised; they were deceived like foolish babes.
For they went far astray on the paths of error, accepting as gods those animals which even their enemies despised; they were deceived like foolish babes.
For they erred full long in the way of error, and guessed to be gods these things that be superfluous in beasts, and lived by custom of young children unwittily. [Forsooth in the way of error longer they erred, esteeming gods those things that in beasts be over-vain, living by manner of unwise young children.]
