Yet precisely because you can do all things, you show mercy to everyone. You overlook their sins, giving them a chance to change their hearts and minds.
For the whole world before thee is as the least grain of the balance, and as a drop of the morning dew, that falleth down upon the earth:
You are powerful enough to do anything, but you are merciful to everyone; you overlook our sins and give us time to repent.
But you have mercy on all, because you can do all things; and you overlook sins for the sake of repentance.
Yet you are merciful to all, for you can do all things, and you overlook men’s sins so that they may repent.
