people stop keeping their lives and their marriages pure. Instead, one person plots to kill another by lying in ambush. Another person causes grief by becoming sexually involved with another person’s spouse.
So that now they neither keep life, nor marriage undefiled, but one killeth another through envy, or grieveth him by adultery:
They no longer kept their lives or their marriages pure. A man might kill another by an act of treachery or cause him grief by committing adultery with his wife.
They no longer respect either lives or purity of marriage; but they either waylay and kill each other, or aggrieve each other by adultery.
They no longer cherish the purity of their lives and marriages, either treacherously murdering their neighbor or aggrieving him by committing adultery with his spouse.
they no longer keep either their lives or their marriages pure, but they either treacherously kill one another, or grieve one another by adultery,
they no longer keep either their lives or their marriages pure, but they either treacherously kill one another, or grieve one another by adultery,
they no longer keep either their lives or their marriages pure, but they either treacherously kill one another, or grieve one another by adultery,
they no longer keep either their lives or their marriages pure, but they either treacherously kill one another or grieve one another by adultery,
they no longer keep either their lives or their marriages pure, but they either treacherously kill one another, or grieve one another by adultery,
they no longer keep either their lives or their marriages pure, but they either treacherously kill one another, or grieve one another by adultery,
keep now neither clean life, neither clean weddings; but also one man slayeth another man by envy, either (by) doing adultery maketh sorry his neighbor. [nor life, nor clean spousals now they keep; but another another by envy slayeth, or adultery sorroweth.]
