Reject not the petition of the afflicted: and turn not away thy face from the needy.
Don't refuse to help a beggar who is in distress. Don't turn your back on a poor person or give him any reason to curse you.
A beggar’s request do not reject; do not turn your face away from the poor.
Do not neglect a suppliant in distress, or turn your face away from the poor.
