Sirach 45:17
By his commandments, the Lord gave him authority over covenants for judgment, to teach Jacob the testimonies, and to enlighten Israel with his Law.
His sacrifices were consumed with fire every day.
He entrusted the commandments to Aaron's keeping and gave him the authority to make legal decisions and to teach Israel the Law.
He gave to him the laws, and authority to prescribe and to judge: To teach precepts to the people, and judgments to the Israelites.
He entrusted him with his commandments and gave him the authority to enact laws and make judgments, to teach Jacob his decrees and to enlighten Israel in regard to his law.
