Therefore, respect my judgment, because it isn’t good to guard against every shame, and not everyone, in good faith, holds all the same things in good repute.
A good life hath its number of days: but a good name shall continue for ever.
My children, listen and I will teach you the circumstances when it is proper to be ashamed. Sometimes it is entirely out of place.
judge of disgrace according to my rules, Not every kind of shame is shameful, nor is every kind of disgrace to be recognized.
Therefore, provide a sense of shame in the following matters, for shame is not always appropriate in every instance, nor is it to be approved in every situation.
Therefore show respect for my words; for it is not good to feel shame in every circumstance, nor is every kind of abashment to be approved.
Therefore show respect for my words; for it is not good to feel shame in every circumstance, nor is every kind of abashment to be approved.
Therefore show respect for my words; for it is not good to feel shame in every circumstance, nor is every kind of abashment to be approved.
Therefore show respect for my words, for it is not good to feel shame in every circumstance, nor is every kind of shaming to be approved.
Therefore show respect for my words: For it is good to retain every kind of shame, and not everything is confidently esteemed by every one.
Therefore show respect for my words: For it is good to retain every kind of shame, and not everything is confidently esteemed by every one.
Nevertheless (re)turn ye again in these things that come forth of (or from) my mouth. For it is not good to keep all unreverence, and not all things please all men in faith. [Neverthelater turneth again in these things that go out of my mouth. Forsooth it is not good to wait about, or to keep, all unreverence, and not all things in all please in faith.]
