Sirach 41:14
Hold on to your education in peace, my children. Hidden wisdom and an invisible treasure— of what use is either?
The mourning of men is about their body, but the name of the ungodly shall be blotted out.
My children, do as I teach you and live at peace. Wisdom that is not expressed is like a treasure that has been hidden—both are useless.
Hidden wisdom and concealed treasure, of what value is either? Better is the person who hides his folly than the one who hides his wisdom. My children, listen to instruction about shame;
My children, be true to your training and be at peace; hidden wisdom and unseen treasure— of what value is either?
My children, be true to your training and be at peace; hidden wisdom and unseen treasure— of what value is either?
My children, be true to your training and be at peace; hidden wisdom and unseen treasure— of what value is either?
My children, be true to your training and be at peace; hidden wisdom and unseen treasure— of what value is either?
My children, observe instruction and be at peace; hidden wisdom and unseen treasure, what advantage is there in either of them?
My children, observe instruction and be at peace; hidden wisdom and unseen treasure, what advantage is there in either of them?
Sons, keep ye teaching in peace; for why wisdom hid, and treasure unseen, what profit is in ever either? [Discipline in peace keepeth, ye sons; hid forsooth wisdom, and treasure unseen, what profit in ever either?]
