They will mold the clay with their hands and work the wheel with their feet. They will devote themselves to finishing the glazing, and they lose sleep in order to clean the kiln.
The noise of the hammer is always in his ears, and his eye is upon the pattern of the vessel he maketh.
He works the clay with his feet until he can shape it with his hands; then he takes great pains to glaze it properly, and will work far into the night to clean out the kiln.
With his hands he molds the clay, and with his feet softens it. His determination is to complete the glazing, and he is careful to fire the kiln.
He molds the clay with his hands and softens it with his feet. He concentrates on doing the glazing correctly and stays up late to clean the furnace.
He moulds the clay with his arm and makes it pliable with his feet; he sets his heart on finishing the glazing, and he takes care in firing the kiln.

In his arm he shall form (the) clay; and before his feet he shall bow (down) his virtue (or his strength). He shall give his heart to end perfectly something; and by his waking he shall cleanse the furnace.
