Sirach 26:26
A wife who honors her own husband will appear wise to everyone, but the wife who dishonors her husband with arrogance will be known to all as ungodly. The husband of a good wife is happy, for the number of his years will double.
A man of was fainting through poverty: and a man of sense despised:
A woman who honors her husband is thought of as wise by all, but if she dishonors him, others will regard her as proud and ungodly. Blessed is the husband of a good wife, for she doubles the length of his life.
A wife honouring her husband will seem wise to all, but if she dishonours him in her pride she will be known to all as ungodly. Happy is the husband of a good wife, for the number of his years will be doubled.
